Yardley Inn hosted its own British-themed lunch and dinner in celebration of Bonfire Night. In traditional continental style, Chef Eben put together a three-course meal of English classics. Thanks to everyone who came out to event! We had such a great turn out.
For those of you who couldn’t attend, Guy Fawkes Day is usually celebrated in the United Kingdom in remembrance of the Gunpowder Plot of 1605. A conspiracy to overthrow King James was thwarted with the arrest of Guy Fawkes who was guarding a supply of explosives hidden under the House of Lords. Though there were no bonfires or fireworks set off in Yardley Inn, the themed menu was a hit.
