St. Patrick’s Day is always a blast at the Yardley Inn. Every year Chef Eben prepares a three-course Irish feast that is available for lunch and dinner. This year’s menu offerings included a choice of Smoked salmon boxty with dill cream or Lamb and Barley stew as an appetizer, an entree choice of Smoked cod with colcannon (potatoes and kale) or Corned beef & Cabbage with potatoes, mustard, and for dessert, either Guinness cheesecake or Cashel blue cheese with soda bread and honey. Our St. Patrick’s Day Three-Course Lunch & Dinner was 15.95 for lunch and 25.95 for dinner.
Here are a few snaps of the delicious courses we caught on their way out of the kitchen…
Drink Specials at the bar make St. Patty’s Day along the Delaware River even more fun. This year we featured the following list of Irish Drink Specials:
– Guinness Pub Can
– Nutty Irishmen
– Irish Potato Martini
– Belfast Bomber
We’re so glad we got to share this festive holiday with our special guests! We’re already looking forward to St. Patrick’s Day of 2015, not to mention upcoming celebrations for Cinco de Mayo, Memorial Day, and more.
