Lagunitas Brewing Company boasts as much personality as its beers have flavor, making the Yardley Inn’s summer beer dinner a surefire hit for all craft beer lovers in the Philadelphia area. The Yardley Inn will host the Lagunitas Beer Dinner on Thursday, July 17, kicking off at 7 p.m. with five pairings that feature a creative array of flavors and cooking styles to suit any palate. Guests can enjoy Lagunitas craft beers and Yardley Inn fare with a warm buzz of social atmosphere.
Guests 21 and up can come and enjoy some California sunshine at this craft beer dinner hosted along the banks of the Delaware. The vibe emitted by Lagunitas Brewing Company is fun and social, lighthearted and sure to deliver a good time. Beer lovers and their companions will enjoy the event itself and especially the five courses designed by the Yardley Inn’s Sous Chef Josh Noel. Chef Josh prepared the flavorful menu to mingle nicely with each beer that he handpicked for the Lagunitas Beer Dinner at the Inn.

1st course:
Slow poached griggstown farm egg, frisee, ale dressing, crispy chicken skin

2nd course:
Fried Elk Horn oysters, smoked tomato remoulade

3rd course:
Olive oil marinated yellowfin tuna, peach and corn gazpacho, spicy greens

4th course:
Potato chip crusted pork terrine, beer pickles and mustard
Little Sumpin’ Extra Ale
5th course:
Whiskey maple syrup soaked cake, shaved dark chocolate, basil

“This dinner is really allowing me to showcase summer as a season,” he says, looking forward to the dinner and the fun that is sure to transpire. “California beers are known for their hop presence, and this really helps them pair well with a variety of foods, including some unique pairings showcased with this dinner. There will be giveaways, great food, and even greater beer. Working from Daytime Ale to Nighttime Ale allows us to show the variety of beers that Lagunitas has to offer.”
