Yardley Inn Hosts Annual Bourbon Dinner on January 15

The warm and festive atmosphere of Bucks County’s Yardley Inn creates the perfect setting for the Annual Bourbon Dinner, which takes place on Sunday, January 15, 2011 beginning at 7 p.m. At this popular themed dinner, guests will enjoy a fine selection of bourbons expertly paired with Executive Chef Eben Copple’s fine cuisine to create the perfect balance of flavors.

To ensure the best possible menu for the inn’s special dinner, Chef Eben does a private tasting a few weeks earlier in order to explore the keynotes in the bourbon for each course. After the tasting, he is well prepared to choose entrees and accompaniments that bring out the best of each bourbon on the dinner’s tasting menu.

1st Course:
Pimento cheese sandwiches, watercress, white bread
Buffalo Trace Rye Mash White Dog

2nd Course:
Burgoo over soft white grits
Hudson 4 yr Baby Bourbon

3rd Course:
Cornmeal crusted catfish, cornbread and greens

4th Course:

Tickets to attend this special culinary event are $95, which includes dinner paired with bourbon. Tax and gratuity are additional. Tickets can be purchased through the Yardley Inn.
