My husband and I had the most amazing meal last night! I highly recommend the crispy cauliflower appetizer and the crispy cod entrée it was beyond delicious! Thank you Robert for your outstanding service!
Visited for a special occasion and received first class treatment: a table with a view of the Delaware River and a waiter who allowed us to order drinks from the Sunday specials, mimosas! We are out of towners, but our daughter attends TCNJ, so it is likely that we will be back again to celebrate soon...
My husband and I discovered the Yardley Inn about 5 years ago just by accident. We have been going there ever since. Being the foodies that we are and the quaint atmosphere, makes for a special time every time we go. Highly recommend!
A lovely little treasure by the river. I had a lovely seat by the window over looking the herb and veggie garden by the river. My goodness! Just so charming and beautiful. It was drizzling that day. So the view was enchanting and cozy.
We enjoyed Some freshly brewed iced tea. It had such a nice flavor. For appetizer we had Brussels sprouts and a plate of wraps.
We ordered the crab quiche it was so delicious and it had such a divine salad with fruit too.
So flavorful and delicious
Our waiter Kevin was seven attentive and professional. He really took care of us!
Such a cozy restaurant.
The last few times I was here it was not very good. Kind of on the black list. We figured we would give it a try since it was lousy weather. I have to give them props, the food was very good, service was perfect, just the right amount of attention. Definitely will be back, they are off the black list
Delicious. I love the little plates. Just enough. Drinks were fabulous. And how nice it is that the bartenders know people by name.
Very nice place for lunch. Great food and atmosphere. Can feel a bit crowded but food came in a timely fashion. The homemade chips are delicious. Salads are huge.
We went for Happy Hour and had a lovely time.
Note. . Happy Hour here starts at 5pm and runs till 7pm.
The interior is stylish and comfortable. Some dining tables have a lovely view of the Delaware River flowing by. There is an outdoor patio which is also "Happy Hour Territortly" during nicer weather, which also overlooks the river.
The dishes we sampled were all smazing! I loved their Deviled Eggs, which are done with an interesting spin... smoked trout, trout rose, and dill. We also ordered Buffalo wings... a bar staple, but they managed to add a little extra something in their sauce that made them stand out from other places. I loved the calimari. Served with sweet peppers as an interesting twist. Most places add jalapenos if they add peppers. I thought the sweet peppers really enhanced the flavor of the calimari, rather than overtaking it, as hot peppers can do.
For a beverage, I ordered a cosmopolitan. I must say it was probably one of the best I have tasted... and hard to beat in price considering it was created with a generous amount of Stoli for only $6! Additionally, the martini glass was large, so you get a generous pour!
The staff was Very friendly, attentive, and accommodating.
I highly recommend The Yardville Inn for Happy Hour.
I have as yet to go there for a sit down dinner, but did view the full menu, which seemed inventive and well thought out. I imagine dinner there would also be amazing.
The service and food was great. Highly recommended it
We had friends visiting from Virginia and we took them to Yardley Inn. We had a fabulous meal. They loved the marguerita salad and brussel sprout ap. Three of us had the crispy pork shoulder special which was delicious and the meat was falling off the bone. We look forward to our next meal there.
