As usual the food was delicious and the service was great. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great ambiance and food
The Yardley Inn is one of my favorites around the Yardley/Newtown area. The atmosphere is calming and enjoyable, and the service is always incredible. Their food is also incredible. Their grass fed filet mignon dinner is amazing, with au gratin potatoes and creamed spinach. Their ricotta cavatelli and briased short rib is also insanely good. If you're looking for a side, go with the crispy cauliflower.
I also can vouch for this place for their event planning. I held my parents 25th anniversary brunch here with 50 guests. They were so professional, got every detail correct, and provided a fantastic brunch. My parents absolutely loved it!
Great menu choices, service and ambiance. Have been going to the YI for many years and always had a good experience. Wait staff friendly and helpful. Tiers of taste appetizer/small plates always good for appetizer or light meal.
I'd recommend the Yardley Inn for any occasion. We had some excellent crab cakes on Tuesday from the extended early menu, 3 courses for $27. It's a great deal. It's usually 4-6pm, but Tuesdays runs all evening. The cauliflower appetizer was very tasty with some arugula, the crab cakes were a delight, loved the wedge salad, and the tiramisu went home with us. Over the years the Inn has diversified their menu and added some interesting mains as well as appetizers, and the atmosphere is old and woody. The pork paprikash is one of my favorites, and there's nothing like a 300-year-old building.
Had not been there in awhile but it remains the same wonderful dining experience we remembered.
We've visited a handful of times over the last six months. We generally get shareable small plate dishes and they're always outstanding. Drinks are above average to excellent every time as well, and the atmosphere is peaceful and sets a nice mood.
Our visit was 29 December 2018. Four women, my sister and I were taking my mother out for an early birthday before leaving PA with one of her sisters. We did not want a regular chain restaurant. My sister’s firm had a party here one year so we choose this establishment. It did not disappoint. Our dishes included 2 Crab Bisque soups, Filet Mignon Cheese Steak, 2 Faroe Island Salmon, Filet Mignon plate. The food was excellent and our waiter was great & a cutie pie. We sat along the window overlooking the road & water which was a perfect setting. The staff very pleasant, place clean, all in a relaxing environment. We got there around 2:30pm. We were happy we choose this restaurant and will return again.
This is one of my favorite places. The holiday atmosphere was festive. Our waiter was the bomb, he was exceptionally personable and courteous, funny and efficient.
Amazing cheeseburgers, all of our dishes were super tasty, with a great view of the Delaware River. Drinks are really good. Service was fantastic. We'd definitely come back!
Always consistent with an expansive menu to chose from!
Beautiful setting with the Delaware River in the background! Historic venue in Bucks County! Think revolutionary war in the eighteenth century!
